Emoji Meaning

A cat that is also a ninja. Used as an unofficial mascot by Microsoft, and was available in the Segoe Color Emoji font included with Windows 10. Ninja Cat was implemented as a proprietary ZWJ Sequence which was not supported by other vendors.

Variations included 🐱‍🚀 Astro Cat, 🐱‍👓 Hipster Cat, 🐱‍💻 Hacker Cat, 🐱‍🐉 Dino Cat and 🐱‍🏍 Stunt Cat.

Ninja Cat and its variations were removed in Microsoft's Fluent emoji redesign, released in late 2021.

The Ninja Cat emoji is a ZWJ sequence combining 🐱 Cat Face, ‍ Zero Width Joiner and 👤 Bust in Silhouette. These display as a single emoji on supported platforms.
